Booking Information

Our online booking form is located at the bottom of this page but please read all policies and pricing information first.

Policies

All events must be booked using the form below. LU Sound can not work an event if this form has not been filled out and submitted, regardless of whether you have contacted us in another manner.

For insurance reasons and in accordance with Lehigh University policy, LU Sound is only permitted to work events on Lehigh's campus and only during the times permitted by the Dean of Students. Therefore, we are not permitted to work any events after the last day of classes for a semester. We apologize for any inconveniences this may cause.

Booking must be done two weeks prior to the scheduled event. In the event that two weeks notice is not given, we will do our best to accommodate your requests. However, there are no guarantees. There will be a late scheduling fee if the event request is not submitted by 4pm Monday the week before the event. You will receive a confirmation email from one of our officers if your event is confirmed.

Cancellations must be made at least three days prior to the event by 4pm by e-mailing our officers or by calling Evelynda Santos in the Office of Student Engagement at ext. 8-6670. If you choose to cancel by e-mail, do not consider your event canceled until you have received a reply e-mail confirming that we have received your cancellation. If this policy is not followed, you will be charged a late cancellation fee.

LU Sound reserves the right to bill your account regardless of whether or not an event is worked if these policies are not adhered to.

LU Sound reserves the right to decline or cancel any outdoor event without charge if the conditions may damage our equipment.

LU Sound is not responsible for DJing your event.

Pricing

Our four complete sound systems are each designed for specific types and sizes of event. Each rig's price is listed in the table below. View more information about our systems.

LU Sound is not able to support staging or lighting needs at this time.

LU Sound has fog machines that we can set up at your sound event for a $15 fog machine fee. (Note: Fog machines are not allowed in the UC)

Note: Each rig rental price is quoted from the time equipment leaves storage until the time it is returned. This represents the time our members spend. It is not the time of the event. If the equipment is out of storage for more than 6 hours, you will be charged for fractions of additional hours, according to the table.
 
Note: Since our equipment is storaged in Lamberton Hall, any event outside of that building will receive an additional flat charge for a van rental from Transportation Services. As of February 2020, this cost is $57.50.
